Dr. Khan is affiliated as Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he has served as Head of the Rheumatology Department, providing specialist rheumatology care and contributing to teaching, clinical leadership, and advanced patient management. Having lived and practiced extensively in Ireland and Europe, Dr. Khan has brought modern evidence-based rheumatology treatments and expertise to the United States.

Dr. Khan completed advanced postgraduate specialist training in Rheumatology in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
