Dr. Khan serves as Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny, Ireland, where he served as Head of the Rheumatology Department. In this leadership role, he oversees specialist clinical care, medical teaching, and advanced patient management.

Having completed advanced postgraduate specialist training across Europe and North America, Dr. Khan completed an advanced Rheumatology Fellowship and research at Indiana University Medical Center (Indianapolis, USA), focusing on Knee Osteoarthritis and complex rheumatologic disorders. He is an active author of numerous medical publications in leading international rheumatology journals and a committed contributor to patient education.
